ReFrame: Graffiti as Dialogue 2 - iHuman Youth Society

As an organization that serves as a connecting point between Edmonton’s vulnerable youth and the larger Edmonton community, iHuman brings youth and community members together in free public workshops to explore how an art form that is in many cases viewed solely as a tool for vandalism can be used to enhance community dialogue and beautify this city through a pop-up free wall.

Saturday June 24: Micky P is a 25 year old artist and musician who creates dark images to imagine different worlds that are distinct, intricate and sinister. Micky will address graffiti as a response to ongoing gentrification in Edmonton from his own perspective and invite festival goers to address this issue through artistic expression.
