The WorksShop: Family Art Making Programs

Daily: noon – 8PM

13 days of free, all ages, art-making! This year’s feature is The Intriguing Plant Project: using mixed-media collage to re-imagine the natural world. The WorksShop will also host a variety of specialized workshops, including zines, portrait drawing, and more. Stop by on Canada Day for projects with a special focus on Canadian animals!

Daily Drawing Club

5pm – 6pm

Drop in for drawing club! Move around the main site to draw a different festival artwork each day. No experience required to explore your creativity – all are welcome.



Experience art

Community Colouring Murals

Make your colourful mark on the festival. Take part in filling in the murals, drawn from festival artwork, around Capital Plaza throughout the festival.

Colouring Nights on the Patio

Mon - Sat: 7 – 9PM

Hang out with local artists while you colour in the sheets they created – all to the sounds of the stage! Family friendly all ages events
