Festival Volunteer Positions

We look forward meeting you! Each year, we are humbled by the dedication of our volunteers and we strive to provide great perks and recognition. Below, find volunteer positions listed in more detail.

 

Exhibit Attendant - Supervise exhibits and artwork to ensure artwork is not damaged, lost, or stolen. 

Tour Guide - Conduct tours of the festival and exhibits with members of the public. Must attend TArt (Training in Art interpretation), a free, 1-to-2-hour classroom session by The Works.  

Information Tent - Communicate in some form, provide information, and respond to festival patrons. 

Greeter - Greet and count patrons as they enter and leave the festival grounds. 

Grounds Maintenance - Keep the outdoor site environmentally friendly and attractive. 

Patio Bar- ID patrons, sell, handle & reconcile cash and/or pour and server beverages. Must be 18+. Requires ProServe and references. The Works may be able to assist in getting your Pro-Serve, email us to learn more! 

Patio Gate Crew - Ensure AGLC rules are met by counting patrons entering and leaving Patio. Must be 18+. 

Family Programing Tent - Assist children and families in creating art and having fun! Requires a reference and may require Vulnerable Persons police check. 

Photography - Document the festival and volunteers. Requires personal equipment, a resume and attendance at The Works free photography training. 

Volunteer Administration - An extra pair of hands to assist with volunteer sign-ins, schedules, perks, snacks, and work with the Volunteer Coordinator. Requires references.
