In the words of a recent review by Sound & Noise, Rebecca Anderson "has an incredibly unique voice and is far from afraid of performing in a way that is both classical and endlessly innovative." In 2012, she was handpicked for the role of one of The Fates in Anais Mitchell's folk opera "Hadestown." Rebecca is best known for her leading role in the acclaimed baroque-pop band F&M, formed with her songwriting partner Ryan. Recent accomplishments for F&M include: 2015 Edmonton Music Prize Finalist, and 2015 EMA Adult Alternative Recording of the Year Nominee. Gig City states that F&M ”brings a devilish intensity to their work, deftly combining folk music with a vibe that simultaneously engenders the feeling of vaudeville and a symphony orchestra performance." F&M is currently in production for a new album entitled "Lessons From Losers," which is set for a late fall release. Keep tuned for some video sneak peeks later this summer!
