Out of Print
Organized by the Society of Northern Alberta Printmakers (S.N.A.P.), the Out of Print exhibition merged word and image in a wide range of media. They promoted graphic arts such as photography, printmaking and xerography to the public.

Totems
Out on Rice Howard Way, The Works installed two totems by Norman Renschler. Both were15 foot tall structures and were built on location, directly in the public view. The heads were constructed of welded sheet metal, while the bodies consisted of raw lumber. Their overwhelming presence, set in a circle of cut stone, referred to the primal forces of Life and Earth.
