Kateryna Zozulia
Kateryna Zozulia is a Calgary-based multidisciplinary artist whose work spans painting, murals, and mixed media. Born in Ukraine, she began her creative journey at age 12, studying drawing and visual expression before earning Architecture degrees in Ukraine and Poland. This architectural background continues to inform her practice, shaping the way she composes spaces with clarity, structure, and balance.
In 2022, Kate relocated to Canada due to the war in Ukraine, an experience that shifted her artistic focus and deepened her commitment to creative work. Now she explores the emotional and atmospheric qualities of color and light through both contemporary studio practice and large-scale public art. Her work often bridges modern design sensibilities with intuitive mark-making, resulting in pieces that feel both grounded and poetic.
Kate works across private commissions, mural projects, and ongoing studio exploration. Through all facets of her work, she seeks to create moments of stillness and reflection, inviting viewers to pause, breathe, and reconnect with their own inner landscapes.
