Meera Sylvain

Meera is a small-town singer-songwriter from Girouxville, Alberta. Accompanied by the acoustic guitar, her soulful voice and clever songs capture her audience. As a bilingual artist, she proudly incorporates original French and English country music into her performances, and her lyricism demonstrates her deep-rooted love for her hometown and farming lifestyle. This Franco-Albertain singer performs regularly around the city of Calgary where she is pursuing her studies in Biomedical Sciences. Meera is in the midst of releasing her EP made up of three songs, and her singles Ange Gardien and Your Little Girl are currently available on all platforms. Her next single, Chez Nous, will be available shortly! She is proud to be showcasing her original songs in music festivals and solo performances across Alberta.

6:30pm

Du Rite Aces

These fellas have a style all their own. The Du-Rite Aces play a roots roundup of blues, jump, rockabilly, western swing, and surf all mixed up into one big stew.

The Calgary-based band features guitarist and bandleader Greg "Junior" Demchuk, a founding member of The Twisters and past member of The Rockin’ Highliners. In a career spanning over two decades, this retro-drenched guitarist has helped put the shake on dance floors from coast to coast and beyond across the pond. Joining Greg is an all-star cast of dynamite players with Mike Clark on sax, Chris Brziecki on upright bass, and Kelly Kruse on drums.

So if you like live music played honest with no gimmicks, check em out, good times guaranteed.

9:00pm

Brewtals

In the dregs of the last century, a dark, under-documented time of content scarcity, the chaotic velocity of surfy garage punk sank its crappy tendrils deep in the hearts of a collective of obnoxious burn-outs from Edmonton, Alberta. And now, just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water, The Brewtals come screeching back delivering some old favourites and fresh blood. Check it out if you crave a lo-fi sound that welcomes you to step up front and get on down.
