Ruvimbo Nyandoro

Production Intern (2025)

Ruvimbo (she/her) is a Zimbabwean-Canadian artist living in Amiskwacîwâhikan (Edmonton, AB) who worked as a production assistant at The Works Visual Arts Society. This fall, she will enter her fourth year in the BFA program at the University of Alberta. While painting and soft sculpture are currently at the center of her practice; she applies a multi-disciplinary approach to her work, as she uses a variety of mediums and concepts. Within her work, Ruvimbo seeks to amplify the voices of the most vulnerable in society, while also highlighting the parts of life people are afraid to live out loud. Ruvimbo wants to be a chameleon within life’s journey; exploring, changing, and adapting as she finds the many places to exist within the art world.
