Amy Pretorius

Volunteer Admin Intern (2024, 2025)

Amy (she/they) is a creative residing in in amiskwaciwaskahikan in Treaty 6 territory. She graduated from the University of Alberta’s Bachelor of Design program in 2025, where she focused on visual communication design and printmaking. During their degree, they received their Certificate in International Learning, completed a practicum at the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce, volunteered as an executive on the UofA’s Student Design Association (SDA) and BDes grad committee, worked with a listening bar in Berlin, and participated in the pop-up shop Built. Their design practice consists of branding and visual systems, illustration, layout, print design, and book design. Her artistic practice involves themes of loss, change, the unknown, and interconnection primarily expressed through printmaking mediums. Outside the studio, Amy can be found reading, crafting, adventuring with friends, and engaging with the art and design community. You can follow her work on Instagram @corvidamy.
