Kev Liang

Production Intern (2021, 2022, 2025)

Kev Liang (he/him), 2025’s Production Coordinator, is an emerging multidisciplinary artist from rural central Alberta who is currently based in Edmonton (Treaty 6 territory). Through printmaking and media arts, he tackles his homo/queer diasporic 2nd-gen Chinese-Canadian identity and the existential anxieties of lineage and prosperity within the Anthropocene. Kev has a BFA in Printmaking and Intermedia with Distinction from the University of Alberta, and has exhibited at Art Museum at the University of Toronto for the 2021 BMO 1st! Art award, Latitude 53, SNAP Gallery, The Works Art and Design Festival, The New Gallery, Neutral Ground, and elsewhere. He was also a Production Assistant for two previous festivals with The Works. In his spare time, Kev enjoys IPA beers with friends before exploring urban landscapes and being swallowed alive by synthetic architectural horrors - with a camera handy.
