Frequently Asked Questions

+ WHAT IS THE WORKS ART & DESIGN FESTIVAL?

The Works Art & Design Festival is an annual festival that takes place over 13 days, always including Canada Day, in downtown Edmonton. The focus of this festival is to provide a place for everyone to connect with art and design in their own back yard. Through visual art exhibits, performance art, all-ages art making, and live stage scheduling, everyone can find something to enjoy.

The Festival welcomes everyone, so there is something for any age and all levels of training in art. We are also proud to welcome your furry family members, as Capital Plaza and our All-Ages Patio is pet friendly.
