ARTIST STATEMENT

Hello Human! is a multi-media installation that explores the blurring boundaries between living in a physical body and the future-now experience of becoming a digital entity, and our rapid integration into new virtual realities. Moment Discovery’s team responds to these compelling questions of the emergent ‘analog/digital’ human by creating technology that empowers people to intermingle with their virtual self in immersive, responsive worlds of their own making.

Hello Human! is a playful, aesthetic expression of these enquiries. People can recognize and animate their ‘analog/digital’ identity to paint with light, compose music, chat with their computer collaborator, play immersive art games - creating real time evidence of their presence in both worlds.
